Fasivery is a Swiss restaurant food delivery service. The work principle of the company is to simplify and unify the food delivery process. The user can order any dish from the nearby restaurants. Fasivery managers take care of the rest, organizing the entire logistics process of the order, from ordering to the courier knocking at the door.

The story of the collaboration between Fasivery and Meta began with the support of their previous website, made by another contractor. But just six months later, Fasivery representatives decided to entrust us with the development of a complex and large-scale project. And it became precisely that -a ‘project’, and not just a ‘website’. The main task that was faced was not so much to create a webpage, but more of a full-fledged functional system. We tried to automate as much as possible for all stages of the work cycle, and based on the operations performed, settlements are made with restaurants and couriers automatically.

I have turned to the guys from Meta for maintenance of our old site, developed by another web studio. In the process, we have found out that the website has been poorly developed, and this has caused many errors for us. We have thus decided to develop a new website. 

Despite the change of the planned deadlines, the task has been fulfilled competently, the guys have actively kept me informed throughout the development, as I have requested.

Integration with the application for couriers The interaction with a major courier search service has significantly reduced the delivery time.
Personal account for customers The buyer does not need to re-enter the payment details and delivery addresses. All the details are saved on his/her personal account.
Individual system of discounts for attracted friends It has allowed not only the acquiring of new customers, but also the retention of existing ones.
Online payment Online payment. Besides handing over cash to the courier, now you can pay for your order by credit card, through mail services, as well as through Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Admin panel with CRM functions All information about existing orders, web-site functionality, as well as all related analytics and reports are placed in the admin panel.
PWA application Users can add a PWA of the website to the screen of their iOS and Android devices. The service independently determines the geolocation of the customer and reports the status of the order with push notifications.

The system of calculating the time and cost of delivery

We have already listed a handful of ‘highlights’ of the website in the previous section, but we would like to single out one feature. For Fasivery customers, we have created a system for calculating the time and the cost of delivery. The algorithm interacts with Google Maps, calculating the route. Various other factors are also taken into account, including the preparation time needed for the dish.

Moreover, after the first calculation, the interaction with Google Maps for the subsequent order is no longer required. The algorithm will work according to the previously obtained data. Fewer GM requests - less expenses for customer.
